ALMS Petit Le Mans Live on TV

Britain’s Le Mans 24 Hour race winner, Allan McNish, has been drafted in to strengthen Audi's American team for the 10th round of the American Le Mans Series in the Petit Le Mans race. The 1,000-mile/10-hour race in Road Atlanta, Braseldon, GA is scheduled for 4.15pm (uk time) on Saturday 4th October.

Allan McNish will extend his 2008 season for Audi Sport by racing an R10 TDI alongside regular co-driver Dindo Capello and fellow Italian Emanuele Pirro and will be bidding for his fourth Petit Le Mans victory.

TV coverage is once again available for this ALMS round on MotorsTV, which will be covering the full 10 hours of the 1,000-mile race, starting in the UK at 4.00pm on Saturday 4th October and continuing unbroken until 2.30am on Sunday 5th October.

Over in the US, SPEED TV will televise the race live with online streaming video available from 1pm to 6.30pm (ET) at www.americanlemans.com. XM Satellite Radio will air live race coverage throughout the day on XM Channel 166.

The American Le Mans Series will offer 5.5 hours of live, in-race video through their www.americanlemans.com website on Saturday 4th October, starting at 1pm (ET).
