McNish - Festival of Speed

Dumfries-born Allan McNish drove an Audi R15 TDI sportscar at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last weekend (3 July). It was the same diesel-engined car that the Scotsman had swept to third place in the Le Mans 24 Hours last month (12-13 June) with co-drivers Dindo Capello (Italy) and Tom Kristensen (Denmark).
McNish's next race is scheduled to be a 1,000km race at Silverstone on September 12 - the final round of the Le Mans Series which Allan currently leads with Capello but also the first of three races counting towards the Intercontinental Cup. McNish won the corresponding Silverstone race in 2008.

I seen Allan McNish at the festival of speed. I had a photo taken of me with him. I have seen him at the Festival and taken a pictureof him everytime I have been which is 2007, 2009, 2010. He's a good racer and the team deserve a victory soon. Audi for the win 2011!!!
