Allan McNish brought the curtain down on his 2008 racing activities in spectacular style when the Scotsman steered his diesel-powered Audi to victory in the 1,000-mile Petit Le Mans race at Road Atlanta tonight (Sat 4 Oct) for a fourth time to maintain his 100% winning record in the annual race.

Britain’s Le Mans 24 Hour race winner, Allan McNish, has been drafted in to strengthen Audi's American team for the 10th round of the American Le Mans Series in the Petit Le Mans race. The 1,000-mile/10-hour race in Road Atlanta, Braseldon, GA is scheduled for 4.15pm (uk time) on Saturday 4th October.

Pupils and staff from 2007 Formula Schools Model Car Championship winners Dalbeattie High School attended the Le Mans Series race at Silverstone last weekend (13-14 Sep) as guests of Audi ace Allan McNish.
